- Most modern siding needs very little upkeep, but ask before you buy. Fiber cement holds paint far longer than wood.

- Some siding looks beautiful and still is not built for Texas heat, hail and sudden storms. We tell you which is which.

- Pick a color that suits the house and sits right with the street. We can show you finished homes in the profile you like.

Siding replacement questions
How long does a siding replacement take?
Most single-family siding jobs take a few days once the crew starts. One Flower Mound customer was quoted on a Tuesday and had a complete siding replacement and paint finished by Thursday. Larger or two-story homes take longer, and we give you a schedule before we begin.
Do you replace soffit, fascia and trim at the same time?
Yes. Elite Exteriors replaces siding, soffit, fascia and trim with James Hardie products as part of the same job, so the whole exterior matches and there are no weak spots left behind.
Can you replace siding on just one side or one story?
Yes. We regularly replace siding on a single wall, around a chimney or on a second story only. We match the profile and paint so the new section blends in.
What happens if you find rot under the old siding?
We show you the damage, replace the rotted sheathing or framing, and only then install the new siding. Covering rot with new boards just hides the problem.
